Mission

"HAPPY ARE THE PURE IN HEART FOR THEY SHALL SEE GOD…" Mt 5, 8

Since my youngest age, this phrase resonates within me.

Life is a process of transformation, and all spiritual traditions tend toward a gradual dematerialization process, from matter towards Spirit.

Martial arts are a true accelerator where diligent practice reveals the boundaries where the real path begins.

Korean martial tradition, like all authentic traditions, uses the body as a vehicle for spiritual realization, and it is this very goal that inspires and justifies the spirit of my method:

To purify one's heart through sincere and diligent natural practice and connect to one's true essence.

WHO AM I?

WHO AM I?

This is the basic Koan given by Buddhist master monks to their students.

We can start defining ourselves by what we are not.

We can also define ourselves by what we love.

Art, in all its forms, is the most accurate expression of the human soul.

So, I would say that I am an artist of the movement of the mind and body in constant search of harmony with the Eternal.

Progressive standardization of our thought and action patterns toward a single functional and productive model is an increasingly alienating reality in today's world. This 'new world' wants to think in having more rather than being, and the very meaning of life gets lost in fears progressively instilled in our consciousness.

Overcoming fear by awakening CONSCIOUSNESS... overcoming our fears by uniting effort, will, and knowledge through a vigilant practice anchored in the true self can awaken our consciousness and reveal our true nature.

This is the purpose of the TAIPA message.

Talking about values

The existentialist consideration of the human condition – where do I come from, who am I, where am I going – has always been the driving force behind philosophical effort, transcending cultures and traditions.

My personal experience with martial arts, through a gradual process of elevating consciousness and virtue, has allowed me to give coherence to my life. This is what I would like to share with a community striving towards the realization of fundamental human values. Having the strength to live with a sense of justice and a taste for goodness.

Participating in the work of Heaven on Earth is the inner mission that justifies my existence. Thank you for sharing this human adventure, for the better, here and beyond.

Onward to victory, always.

I had the honour of meeting Philippe Pinerd in December of 1988. I was a 17 year old boy eager to train in the homeland of the martial art I so loved. Looking back, I can say that I was truly blessed to have this experience at this age and in this era and most of all with the incredible people with whom I shared this with. One such amazing individual I had the fortune of meeting was Philippe Pinerd.

I met Phillip for the first time 35 years ago at Seoul Yongam Temple, where I've been staying with a stoic appearance, with eyes and a heart like a Korean. Shouting with a Taekwondo spirit, he was practicing Taekwondo movements. Speaking Spanish, English, French, African languages, and Korean, he diligently performed kicking movements in front of the Buddha Hall where the Buddha is enshrined.
